Evaluation My main subject is Summer Flowers, School Photo’s and Close up’s. The first four photos’ I took were of flowers. The first picture I took was of a purple flower with a white and yellow center. I took this picture because I thought I was very cool unique and interesting. I took this picture because I like the way it stands out from the background and the way its shaped intrigued me. To me this photo makes me feel proud and happy. This is a professionally taken photo next to mine, I think my photo is similar to this other photo because there both roughly the same size and the background is similar also there both powerful bright eye catching colors. I could of improved my photo by having a green background, having a green background would make my photo stand out much more. I had lots of positive comments for example the contrast of the brown sticks and the purple petals create a very calming affect. People thought this photo was very good they gave some good comments for example they thought my picture was very bright and vibrant. People liked the way the flower stood out from the green background, they also thought the quality was good. Other people thought it was boring and plain. I liked this photo but I think I could of improved it by maybe having an insect on the leaf or something to make it a little more interesting because again its quite plain and boring, I don’t think the rain drop made it interesting enough.

Below is my original image i have taken, above is the new one witch i edited. First of all i duplicated my picture then clicked the eye symbol on my new layer to hide it. Then i had to select the the background and make it black and white, then i unhide the select coloured image and then select the colour range. After that i selected eyedropper + tool and then i select the coloured area. Then i copy and pasted the correct area, then i deleted the colour layer. Finally i hid the background layer and erased any unwanted bits with eraser tool. Then i saved the new image.
